After Care Instructions

Proper aftercare is key to maintaining beautiful, long-lasting results! Follow these expert tips to keep your lashes, brows, and skin looking their best.

Lash Extension Aftercare:

  1. Avoid Water for 24-48 Hours
Keep your lashes dry for the first 24-48 hours to allow the adhesive to fully bond.

  2. No Rubbing or Pulling
Don’t rub or tug at your lashes to prevent them from falling out prematurely.

  3. Gently Clean Lashes
Clean your lashes daily with a lash-safe cleanser and a soft brush. Avoid using oil-based products near your lashes.

  4. Avoid Oil-Based Products
Stay away from oil-based makeup removers, cleansers, or moisturizers as they can break down the adhesive.

  5. Be Mindful of Heat & Steam
Limit exposure to heat, steam, and saunas, as these can loosen the adhesive.

  6. Don’t Sleep on Your Face
Try to sleep on your back to prevent lashes from getting squished or bent.

  7. Brush Lashes Regularly
Use a spoolie brush to keep lashes neat and separated.

  8. Limit Mascara Use
Avoid using mascara on extensions to prevent damage and buildup.

Lash Lift & Tint Aftercare:

  1. Avoid Water for 24 Hours
Keep lashes dry for the first 24 hours to allow the lift to fully set.

  2. No Rubbing or Pulling
Avoid rubbing or tugging on your lashes to preserve the shape and curl.

  3. No Makeup for 24 Hours
Don’t apply mascara or makeup near your lashes during the first 24 hours.

  4. Avoid Steam & Sauna
For the first 48 hours, avoid hot showers, steam, or saunas, as moisture can relax the lift.

  5. No Oil-Based Products
Stay away from oil-based makeup removers or cleansers, as they can weaken the lift.

  6. Gently Clean Your Lashes
Use a gentle, oil-free cleanser to clean your lashes if needed, and always use a soft touch.

  7. Brush Your Lashes
Use a clean spoolie to brush your lashes daily to keep them neat.

Brow Lamination Aftercare:

  1. Avoid Water for 24 Hours
Keep your brows dry for the first 24 hours to ensure the lamination sets properly.

  2. No Makeup or Skincare
Don’t apply makeup, creams, or oils to your brows for at least 24 hours after the treatment.

  3. Avoid Steam & Sauna
For the first 48 hours, avoid steam, saunas, or intense sweating to prevent the brow shape from relaxing.

  4. Don’t Rub or Touch
Avoid touching or rubbing your brows to maintain the shape.

  5. Hydrate with a Brow Oil
To keep your brows healthy and shiny, apply a nourishing brow oil once the 24-hour period is over.

  6. Be Gentle When Washing Your Face
When washing your face, avoid getting your brows wet for the first 24 hours.

Intimate Waxing Aftercare:

  1. Avoid Touching the Area
Refrain from touching the waxed area to reduce the risk of irritation or infection.

  2. Keep the Area Clean & Dry
Gently cleanse the area with a mild, fragrance-free soap and water. Avoid using harsh scrubs or exfoliants.

  3. No Heat for 24 Hours
Avoid hot showers, saunas, or hot tubs for at least 24 hours after waxing. Excessive heat can irritate the skin and open pores.

  4. Avoid Tight Clothing
Wear loose-fitting underwear and clothing for the first 24-48 hours to allow the skin to breathe and reduce friction.

  5. Stay Away from Fragrances & Harsh Products
Avoid using any scented lotions, creams, or deodorants in the waxed area for at least 24 hours. These can irritate the skin.

  6. No Sun Exposure
Do not sunbathe or use tanning beds for 48 hours post-waxing, as the skin will be more sensitive and prone to burning.

  7. Avoid Exercise & Sweating
Intense exercise, sweating, or swimming should be avoided for 24-48 hours to minimize irritation and infection risk.

  8. Exfoliate Gently After 3-4 Days
After the first few days, you can start gently exfoliating the area to prevent ingrown hairs. Use a mild exfoliant or a soft washcloth.

  9. Moisturize
Keep the waxed area moisturized with a soothing, fragrance-free lotion or oil to help calm and hydrate the skin.

  10. Watch for Infections
Look out for any signs of infection, such as redness, bumps, or pimples, and contact your esthetician if you're concerned.

    Additional Tips:
Ingrown Hair Prevention: Consider using an ingrown hair treatment product after a few days to prevent and treat any ingrown hairs.
Routine Waxing: Regular waxing (every 4-6 weeks) can lead to softer, finer hair regrowth over time.

By following these aftercare steps, you'll help your skin stay smooth, calm, and healthy after your intimate wax!

Chemical Peel Aftercare:

  1. Avoid Direct Sun Exposure
For at least 2 weeks, avoid direct sunlight or tanning beds. Your skin will be more sensitive and prone to burning. Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen SPF 30+ or higher, even on cloudy days.

  2. Keep Your Skin Hydrated
Apply a gentle, hydrating moisturizer frequently (at least twice a day) to keep the skin moisturized and help with peeling.

  3. Avoid Touching or Scratching the Area
Do not pick at or scratch your skin, even if it starts to peel. Let the skin naturally shed to avoid scarring and irritation.

  4. Avoid Heat and Sweat
For 48 hours, refrain from hot showers, saunas, or heavy exercise that could cause sweating. Heat can irritate the treated skin and worsen peeling.

  5. Gentle Cleansing
For the first few days, wash your face with a mild, non-abrasive cleanser (preferably fragrance-free) and lukewarm water. Pat your skin dry with a soft towel—avoid rubbing.

  6. Do Not Use Exfoliants or Scrubs
Avoid physical or chemical exfoliants (including retinoids, glycolic acid, or AHAs) for at least 1-2 weeks after the peel, as your skin is more sensitive and could be irritated.

  7. Avoid Makeup for 24-48 Hours
For the first 24-48 hours, avoid wearing makeup, as the skin will be more delicate. If you need to apply makeup later, use non-comedogenic, gentle products.

  8. Allow Peeling to Happen Naturally
Peeling usually starts 3-5 days after the procedure. Do not force the peeling process by rubbing or pulling on the skin. Let it flake off naturally to prevent scarring.

  9. Avoid Swimming in Chlorinated Water
Avoid swimming in pools or hot tubs for at least 5-7 days, as chlorine can be irritating to your sensitive skin.

  10. Moisturizing & Hydration
Keeping your skin hydrated will help with recovery. Opt for a hydrating serum or an occlusive ointment to prevent excessive dryness, especially if your skin feels tight.

  11. Watch for Any Side Effects
Mild redness, flaking, and tightness are normal. However, if you notice excessive swelling, blistering, or unusual discomfort, contact your skincare professional immediately.

    Additional Tips:
Avoid Chemical Exposures: Steer clear of any products containing alcohol or strong actives (like benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid) that can further irritate the skin.

Follow-Up Appointments: Schedule follow-up appointments with your skincare professional to assess your progress and make sure you’re healing well.

By following these aftercare instructions, your skin will recover smoothly, and you’ll enjoy the full benefits of your chemical peel, including brighter, smoother, and more youthful-looking skin.

Microdermabrasion Aftercare:

  1. Avoid Sun Exposure
Your skin will be more sensitive after microdermabrasion, so it’s important to avoid direct sun exposure for at least 5-7 days. Always apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen SPF 30+ or higher if you must be outside.

  2. Use Gentle, Hydrating Products
After the treatment, use a gentle, fragrance-free cleanser to wash your face. Avoid any harsh exfoliants or scrubs for at least 5-7 days to allow your skin to recover.

  3. Apply a Moisturizer
Keep your skin hydrated by applying a gentle moisturizer several times a day. This will help soothe any dryness and redness and promote healing.

  4. Avoid Hot Showers or Baths
For 24-48 hours, avoid hot showers, saunas, or steam rooms. Heat can irritate the freshly treated skin.

  5. Avoid Sweating and Intense Exercise
For the first 48 hours, avoid vigorous exercise, as sweating can lead to irritation or clog pores in the freshly exfoliated skin.

  6. Do Not Pick or Scratch Your Skin
After microdermabrasion, your skin might feel a bit tight or dry, but avoid picking or scratching at the treated areas. This can cause irritation or scarring.

  7. Avoid Makeup for 24-48 Hours
Ideally, refrain from wearing makeup for at least 24-48 hours after the procedure, as your skin will be more sensitive. If you must wear makeup, opt for non-comedogenic, fragrance-free products.

  8. Don’t Use Retinols or Harsh Actives
For 5-7 days, avoid using any products with retinol, AHAs, BHAs, or other active ingredients that might irritate the skin. Your skin is more vulnerable to sensitivity post-treatment.

  9. Avoid Swimming in Chlorinated Pools
Refrain from swimming in chlorinated pools or hot tubs for at least 5 days, as chlorine can irritate your sensitive skin.

  10. Stay Hydrated
Drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated from the inside out and support the healing process.

    Additional Tips:
Keep Your Skin Calm: If your skin is feeling red or inflamed, you can use cool compresses to help soothe and reduce inflammation.

Follow-up Treatments: Depending on your skin’s needs, your skincare professional may recommend additional treatments for optimal results.

By following these aftercare steps, you’ll help your skin heal properly, keep it hydrated, and ensure you get the full benefits of your microdermabrasion treatment—leaving you with smooth, refreshed, and glowing skin!

Dermaplaning Aftercare:

  1. Avoid Direct Sun Exposure
Your skin will be more sensitive after dermaplaning. Avoid direct sun exposure for at least 5-7 days, and always use a broad-spectrum sunscreen SPF 30+ or higher to protect your freshly exfoliated skin from UV damage.

  2. Use Gentle, Hydrating Skincare
For the first 24-48 hours, avoid using any harsh or active ingredients (like AHAs, BHAs, or retinoids). Stick to gentle, hydrating cleansers and moisturizers to keep your skin nourished.

  3. Avoid Makeup for 24 Hours
After dermaplaning, it’s best to let your skin breathe for at least 24 hours before applying makeup. If you do wear makeup, choose non-comedogenic, fragrance-free products.

  4. Avoid Exfoliation for 5-7 Days
For at least 5-7 days, refrain from any exfoliating treatments (including physical scrubs, peels, or products with exfoliating acids). Your skin is freshly exfoliated and needs time to regenerate.

  5. Hydrate Your Skin
Moisturize your skin regularly to keep it hydrated and prevent dryness. You can also use a hydrating serum or an oil-based product to lock in moisture.

  6. Avoid Hot Showers, Saunas, or Steam
For 48 hours, avoid hot showers, saunas, or steam rooms, as the heat can irritate your freshly exfoliated skin and cause redness or inflammation.

  7. Refrain from Intense Exercise
Avoid vigorous exercise or activities that cause excessive sweating for 24-48 hours, as sweat can irritate your sensitive skin post-treatment.

  8. Don’t Touch or Pick Your Skin
It’s important to resist the urge to touch or pick at your skin, as this can introduce bacteria and cause irritation or breakouts.

  9. Avoid Using Retinoids for 5-7 Days
Retinol and other strong actives can be too harsh for freshly dermaplaned skin. Give your skin a break from retinoids and other exfoliating products for at least 5-7 days.

  10. Use a Cool Compress for Irritation
If your skin feels irritated or inflamed, apply a cool compress to calm it down. Avoid ice, which can be too harsh on the skin.

    Additional Tips:
Be Gentle with Skin Care: Your skin may feel extra smooth and sensitive for a few days, so be gentle when applying products. Avoid tugging or rubbing your skin too hard.

Continue Regular Sun Protection: Post-treatment, your skin will be more susceptible to sun damage, so keep up with daily sun protection for the best results long-term.

By following these simple aftercare steps, you can enjoy glowing, smooth skin and help your dermaplaning results last longer!

Microneedling Aftercare:

  1. Avoid Sun Exposure
Your skin will be more sensitive after microneedling. Avoid direct sun exposure for at least 5-7 days. Always use a broad-spectrum sunscreen SPF 30+ or higher to protect the treated area, even on cloudy days.

  2. Avoid Heat & Sweating
For 24-48 hours, avoid hot showers, saunas, or intense exercise that causes sweating. Heat and sweat can irritate freshly treated skin and cause inflammation.

  3. Do Not Touch or Pick at the Skin
Avoid touching, scratching, or picking at your skin. This can introduce bacteria and lead to scarring or infection. Let your skin heal naturally.

  4. Keep Skin Hydrated
Use a gentle, hydrating moisturizer regularly to keep your skin moisturized and calm. Look for products that are fragrance-free and formulated for sensitive skin.

  5. Avoid Makeup for 24-48 Hours
For 24-48 hours, it’s best to avoid wearing makeup. If you do apply makeup after this period, use non-comedogenic, fragrance-free products to prevent irritation.

  6. Gentle Cleansing
Use a gentle, non-abrasive cleanser (preferably fragrance-free) to wash your face. Avoid using any scrubs or exfoliants for at least 5-7 days post-treatment. Wash with lukewarm water and pat your face dry with a soft towel.

  7. No Harsh Skincare Products
For 5-7 days, avoid products with retinoids, AHAs, BHAs, or any exfoliating agents, as your skin is more sensitive and these ingredients can cause irritation.

  8. Avoid Swimming & Chlorinated Water
For 5-7 days, avoid swimming in chlorinated pools, hot tubs, or places with dirty water, as this can increase the risk of infection.

  9. Do Not Use Ice or Heat Packs
While it's normal to experience some redness and mild swelling post-treatment, avoid applying ice or heat directly to the skin as this can further irritate the area.

  10. Rest & Allow Healing
After microneedling, it's important to give your skin time to heal. Avoid touching your face with dirty hands and avoid strenuous activities that might cause irritation.

    Additional Tips:
Post-Treatment Serum or Mask: Your provider may recommend a calming serum or mask after the procedure. Follow any specific instructions provided by your clinician to optimize healing.

Avoid Chemical Exposures: For best results, avoid chemical peels, waxing, or laser treatments for at least 2 weeks after microneedling.

Stay Hydrated: Drinking plenty of water can help support the healing process and keep your skin hydrated from within.

By following these aftercare guidelines, you will ensure a smooth recovery and help your skin heal properly, maximizing the benefits of your microneedling treatment for a refreshed, glowing complexion.
